When the Wilson High School campus was renovated in the late 90's, plans were made for the inclusion of a gallery space to be located in the administrative wing of the building. Grandview Gallery was founded in 2001 in what was at one time the library of Wilson High School.
The purpose of Grandview Gallery is to be a school and community resource. Artists, craftspeople, students, alumni, and faculty proudly display their work. Grandview Gallery is enthusiastic about exhibiting established and student artists, while educating the community about art, how we create art, and how art can be interpreted. |
Joe Palumbo, Wilson Alumnus 2004, is very honored to be the Director of Grandview Gallery. In 2008, he graduated from Pennsylvania College of Art & Design with a BFA in Illustration. Since then, Joe's work has been on book covers, comic book covers, in graphic novels, magazines, private collections, and is on display in galleries nationally. joepalumbo.net
